critical refelection

What i was able to produce in this class was alot of stuff. some good post and countless good videos. I thikn i was a pretty good kid in the class, i may not of payed attention the whole time but i got all my work done and on time. When i went above and beyond is when we did the christmas music video i brounght in some christmas decoratons from my house and used them in the video we made. One of them that really stood out was MLK video i made. even though i had to due the whole project my  myself it was really interesting to find out about MLK and what he stood for. Another one i liked was the stroke awarness we did. i did not know anything about strokes untill we did that. Now i know that we should do F.A.S.T if you think somebody had a stroke.  A project i did not like was the christmas music video. for one, i did not like the group i was in, second are song would not download to our video, and third i did not like how we had to lip sing all the lyrics. the best video i made was my self video. i liked that one the best. it was four minutes long just like you said, 3 interviews in it like you said and there was no dead spots in it. also i liked how it was individual. i didnt have to worry about other people in my group doing there work or if there are finishing there part. its all on your time and about myself. i didnt have to do any research for it all. my favorite part about my self video was when i was riding my quad. i thought it was really cool. also lighting my hand on fire. what i wish we had learned is how to make games. i think that would be really cool to make a multi level game. like mario or a racing game. this is my critical reflection on my fith hour computer class.

stroke information

Stroke: When a blood going to the brain suddenly get interupped or when a blood vessel bursts, spilling blood into the spaces surrounding brain cells.

treatment: There are 3 stages prevention, therapy immediately afterthe stroke, and post – stroke rehabilitation.

Prognosis: It is not a disease to the brain, but it can effect the rest of your body. A common disability that results from stroke is complete paralysis on one side of the body, called hemiplegia. A related disability that is not as debilitating as paralysis is one-sided weakness or hemiparesis.

Research:  National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) conducts stroke research and clinical trials at its laboratories and clinics at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and through grants to major medical institutions across the country. NINDS researchers are studying the mechanisms of stroke risk factors and the process of brain damage that results from stroke.

Risk Factors: Strokes are the 3rd leading cause of death killing 137,000 people each year. everybody has some stroke risk. A few stroke risks factors are beyond your control, such as being over age 55, being a male, being African- American, Pacific Islander or Hispanic , have diabetes, and having a family history of stroke.

5 warning signs:

#1 sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of body

politics on presidential race 2012

Politics on 2012 presidential race

The 57th quadrennial United States Presidential Election will be held on November 6, 2012, and it will be expected to feature the one and only President Barack Obama for the Democrats, against a yet to be decided republican candidate, and the increasingly obligatory third- party Nominee.

Nominee, again yet to be announced in
The Presidential Election, which would also see the appointment of a Vice President, will commence with nationwide state level primaries and will scheduled to kick-off January 3, 2012, in Iowa and ending on June 5, 2012 in Montana, New Mexico and South Dakota. The five-month process will end with the Republican and Democratic Party convention, which will be held on August 27-30 in Tampa, Florida and September 3-6 in Charlotte.

As the mood of the nation continues to go up and down in the face of a Sputtering economy, runaway public debt and the lack of solutions from the politicians drop both sides of the divide; the importance of the Presidential election has taken on an added significance. There is almost a burden in the air, and it seems to only get progressively worse as the date get closer. But first, a Republican Nominee must be anointed, and we are now right in the middle of the selection process.

In the run up to election day, we will keep you up to date on the latest and greatest involving each of the new candidates with a good look at their positions on current, national issues as well as providing a positive, outstanding background that will hopefully help you in figuring out their goals to lead this awesome nation that is suffering from a massive crisis in confidence. This is a few things that are going on in politics of the 2012 election.

top 5 christmas gifts

Top 5 Christmas gift for 2011

Today I am going to tell you about the top 5 gifts you should get for Christmas this year. I would like most of these gifts for myself. They would be very useful in my everyday life, and just cool to own. Well take a look and see if it interests you.

#1

Gift certificates

I personally like these because you are still getting it as a gift but you get to buy what you want with it. Some of them only go to certain store which is a bum but you can get like pre paid visa cards that you can buy anything anywhere where visa cards are accepted. So gift card you will have to be over 21 to use also. Some people don’t like gift cards, they just like pure cash. Here are just a few  gift cards to buy are Amazon, gas, favorite restaurant, spa, car maintenance, liquor, home maintenance, I tunes and a lot more.

#2

Nintendo Wii

What can’t you say about the Wii? It is a gaming console that let you exercise at the same time. So it kills two birds with one stone. So you get the nerds that like to play video games and the health nuts that like to exercise a lot. They are only one hundred and eighty dollars. So go out and buy one and have fun.

#3

   Apple products

So everybody knows that apple makes IPods, IPods, I phones. They are all good products. For one they hold music. Who doesn’t listen to music? We are in the 21 century now. Also if you get the Iphone you can use it as a music holder plus a phone! How cool is that? Pretty cool if you ask me. They are relatively cheap also, only 100 dollars for the cheap ones, of course they price will go up if you want more memory.

#4

Digital Camera

Who doesn’t want to take photos that speak a million words? Or if you have a holiday get together you want to take so good photo for memories when you get older.

#5

Kindle

A kindle is a digital book that you can read anywhere but you do not have the weight of a normal book. I personally hate reading books but I think it might be a good investment for the school to buy one for every student because it may sound like a lot of money but just think how much they spend on getting new text books and fixing the ones we already have, too much. Then we could download are Math, Economics, English books all onto it and read it.
